Cyclists know their routes better than anyone. That pothole on Miller Street. The dangerous junction at King’s Cross. The stretch where cars regularly pass too close. This local knowledge is invaluable - and now there’s a way to share it.
Introducing Incident Reporting - a new feature that lets you report hazards, near-misses, and infrastructure issues directly in Party Onbici.
Report What You See
When you encounter a cycling hazard, you can now submit a detailed report including:
- Location - precise GPS coordinates or map pin
- Category - what type of issue it is
- Description - details about what happened
- Photos - visual evidence (up to 5 images)
- When it happened - date and time of the incident

Quick and easy incident reporting
Incident Categories
We’ve organised incidents into categories that matter to cyclists:
Near Miss
Close calls with vehicles, pedestrians, or other hazards that could have resulted in a collision.
Road Hazard
Potholes, debris, slippery surfaces, or other road conditions that pose a risk.
Dangerous Junction
Intersections with poor visibility, confusing signals, or frequent conflicts.
Infrastructure Issue
Problems with cycling infrastructure - damaged paths, missing signage, poorly designed facilities.
Obstruction
Blocked bike lanes, illegally parked vehicles, construction blocking cycle paths.
Lighting Issue
Areas with poor or no lighting that affect cyclist visibility and safety.
Privacy Controls
We understand that some incidents are sensitive. You have full control over who sees your report:
| Visibility | Who Can See | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Public | All Party Onbici users | General hazards the community should know about |
| Anonymous | All users, but your name is hidden | When you want to help but stay private |
| Private | Only you and officials | Sensitive incidents or personal safety concerns |
