There’s something special about riding with others. Whether it’s a morning commute with a colleague, a weekend spin with friends, or a family ride to the park - sharing the road makes every kilometre more enjoyable.
That’s why we’ve been building group bike ride features into Party Onbici, and today we’re ready to invite you to try them out.
What We’ve Built
Group rides in Party Onbici let you create a shared cycling session where everyone can see each other on a live map in real time. Here’s what’s working right now:
Live Map with Real-Time Tracking
See every rider’s position on the map as they move. The web view shows a bird’s-eye overview of the whole group, with rider names and live status indicators.
Turn-by-Turn Navigation
Each rider gets turn-by-turn directions on their phone, so nobody gets lost - even if they fall behind the group. The app shows your next manoeuvre, current speed, distance, and ride duration.

What Else Is Included
- Group ride dashboard - see who’s online, who’s joined, and ride stats at a glance
- Ride stats - distance, duration, CO₂ saved, and calories estimated for the whole group
- Cross-platform - works on Android, iOS, and the web
- QR code sharing - invite others to join your ride instantly
Why We Need Beta Testers
We’ve been testing group rides internally, but we need real-world feedback from riders of all kinds - commuters, families, social riders, cycling clubs. We want to know:
- Does the live tracking feel responsive enough?
- Is the navigation clear and helpful?
- What features would make group rides better for your use case?
- How does it perform on your device and network?
Your feedback will directly shape how this feature evolves before we roll it out to everyone.
