Hot on the heels of 2.0, this update is all about getting you onto the ride faster and keeping your plans in sync. Party Onbici 2.0.2 brings passwordless sign-in, automatic calendar syncing for the parties you join, and better controls for private rides — plus a healthy round of fixes.
Here’s what’s new.
🔐 Passwordless sign-in with passkeys
You can now sign in and sign up with no password at all. Use Face ID, Touch ID, or your device PIN to get into your account in a single tap.
Passkeys are faster than typing a password, and they’re more secure — there’s nothing to phish, leak, or forget. If you’d still rather use a password, nothing changes; passkeys are simply there when you want them.
📅 Subscribe your calendar to your parties
Connect your calendar once and every party you join shows up automatically — and newly joined parties keep syncing as you add them. No more copying ride times across by hand or wondering when the next group ride rolls out.
Your calendar app handles the reminders; we keep the details up to date.
🔒 Approvals for private and unlisted parties
Running a private or unlisted ride? Party leaders can now approve requests to join. When someone asks to come along, you decide who’s in — handy for invite-only rides, club runs, and small group sessions where you want to keep the roster tight.
🧭 Cleaner GPS status during navigation
We’ve tidied up the GPS status shown while you navigate, so it’s clearer at a glance whether your location is locked in and ready — especially in the first moments of a ride.
🔔 Notifications that open the right screen
Tapping a notification now always takes you to the correct screen. Whether it’s a party update, a message, or a reminder, you’ll land exactly where you expect.
🛠️ Fixes and polish
This release also clears out a batch of bugs and rough edges:
- Fewer crashes across the app.
- Party participant list fixes so the roster stays accurate.
- More reliable ride sync — your rides land where they should, when they should.
- Corrected prompts in Japanese, Korean, Tamil, and Polish.
